Elnora Adeline Haley

Elnora Adeline Haley was born in Arkabutla, Tate County, Mississippi.  She is the daughter of Robert Thomas Haley and Elizabeth Goode Fort.  She married Willie Lawson Neyman at a young age, as her firstborn was when she was 16 years old.  The family moved to Texas, then back to Mississippi, where the rest of her children were born.  They then moved to Arkansas, where she lived until Willie died.  She continued living in Arkansas until she married a Mr. Schroeder, who had a store at New Town, MS (3 miles east of Senatobia).  After her health failed, she moved to Memphis, TN with a daughter Mrs Leo Phillips.  She died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Memphis, TN, from hardening of the arteries (stroke).
